A focus on victims of crime

Kim Workman, from Rethinking Crime and Punishment, recently made a submission to the Ministry of Justice on the Focus on Victims Rights Review. This submission heavily emphasises the need for restorative justice, in the face of possible government funding cutbacks. Research evidence is overwhelming regarding the benefits to victims and society of the restorative justice approach.
