“Amidst all the news coverage and stories [of the 9/11 commemorations], our message from the WEA was the only one demonstrating global Christ-like unity and hope, that positively stressed the importance of peace among Christians and Muslims worldwide,” writes WEA senior communications advisor May-Lynn Chang. NZ Christian Network’s Glyn Carpenter contributed a prayer for the occasion.
